Never Walk away from an Experience without Learning Something from It!
One of the hardest lessons a person can ever learn from experiences is that they come with a purpose. Before the actual experience, in most cases, there was a thought/idea. After the idea comes contemplation…then a decision. A lot of times people don’t think things through because the first thought seemingly substantiates itself. Being convinced that this is the thing to do, it’s all systems go. In some cases, it is not until about half way through the action or activity that a realization that perhaps, this was not the thing to do occurs. Other times people don’t realize that the decision was a mistake until it’s all over. Then there are times that the decision was good and the out come is great.
Whether a good or bad outcome, there is something that can be learned. The next time an opportunity to make a decision, either just the same or similar to the one previously made comes, the individual should consider what happened before and recount the scenario, and view the choice as good and worthy of repeating, or realize that it was not the way to go, and then consider a different more thought out route. At any rate, experiences come to teach us and help us grow!
